Head Start at Eickenroht
Hello and welcome to AVANCE’s Eickenroht Head Start!
I’m excited to welcome you and your family to a successful year here at Eickenroht. My staff and I are here to help you build a stronger relationship between you and your child.
AVANCE-Houston and Eickenroht Elementary work collaboratively to provide a safe learning environment for children and support their growth in language, literacy, and social-emotional development by providing a curriculum based on research that aligns with Head Start Early Learning Outcome Framework. Here at Eickenroht we build a connection with our children by giving a warm greeting every morning and uniting before our day starts with a chant. Our day consist of a schedule with diverse activities for our children to have different learning opportunities.
At Eickenroht Head Start we invite our parents to be part of our monthly meetings, family activities, and our AVANCE Eickenroht committee. Our goal is for our children to be able to develop physical, social-emotional, and cognitive skills.
