AVANCE Houston’s Angel Tree 2024: A Season of Joy and Generosity

This holiday season, nearly 230 children from all our programs received special gifts thanks to the incredible generosity of our friends, supporters, businesses, partners, and AVANCE staff. Our annual Angel Tree Program was a resounding success, bringing joy and hope to families this holidays season.

We are deeply grateful to the Aldine ISD Davis High School students, who donated 200 blankets and 100 toys for the children in our programs. The group also made the season extra special as they came to lend a helping hand and wrapped over 300 toys. Their thoughtfulness and community spirit made a tremendous impact.

Special thanks also go to our longtime friends from Univision, who adopted all 58 children from our Parent-Child Education Program, and Good+ Foundation whose support has been a incredibly amazing!

Huge thanks to Houston Children’s Charity, who selected 50 children from AVANCE and their siblings to receive toys this season.

None of this would have been possible without the dedication and generosity of our AVANCE staff. From organizing, collecting, and distributing the gifts to contributing toys themselves, their tireless efforts ensured that every child had a magical holiday experience.

To everyone who played a part in making this season brighter for the children in AVANCE—thank you.

Your kindness and generosity truly make a difference. Together, we created memories that will last a lifetime, and we look forward to continuing this beautiful tradition of giving in the years to come.
