Welcome to the AVANCE Houston Strategic Planning Process. As you know, our organization has made great progress in the last few years in accordance with our Vision 2025 Strategic Plan Report. As we successfully closed the 2017-2020 Plan, we are now we are in the process of developing the next Strategic Plan with an eye toward preparing ourselves and our communities for the future.
The new Strategic Plan will map the future of our organization for the next three to five years. Our goal is to provide key stakeholders with the platform for personal accomplishment, as well as the opportunity to make the greatest possible contribution to our work together. This plan will help ensure that we will make the most of the time, talent, and resources anyone shares with us.
We invite you to visit this page as we update information on how we can position ourselves for the future. Thank you for supporting AVANCE Houston.
Process Overview
For the past several months, we have been working closely with our partners at Berkeley Research Group (BRG) as they have undertaken extensive market research, solicited and analyzed feedback received via surveys, interviews, and focus groups
The approach for the strategic planning process is comprised of four phases accompanied by distinct work streams that support clearly defined objectives and manage logical work steps throughout the project.
Strategic Planning Process
BRG is currently working alongside the Strategic Planning Committee, AVANCE Houston senior leadership, and select Board member to test emerging themes through various working groups. This process will inform decision-making for the next Strategic Plan.
Strategic Planning Committee
The Strategic Planning Committee is comprised of select members of the AVANCE Houston Board of Directors and chief leadership team.
